Sometimes I wonder why I didnt transfer last year.
Sometimes I feel like the only way I am going to stop getting hate mail through things like facebook, is for me to leave and stop having anything to do with LC people.

In addition to all the shit that I have been getting from erich's friends, I am now getting in from other people too. I got a nice little comment on my facebook wall tonight:

"In response to your status: You are a really hateful person. You hate everything and everyone dont you?"

I got really upset and wrote back:

"Excuse me? Do you know what is going on in my life right now? Do you know what that was in reference to? If you knew me at all you would know that what you wrote was completly not true, and rather insulting."

I am so tired of this.

Dear God make it stop, because I dont know how much more of this I can take.

In other news, I saw "Ghost Rider" and "The Number 23" this week. They were both surprisingly good. They both did an excelent job of adding just enough humor in just the right places to make it work. I dont know why they got bad reviews. "the number 23" was A LOT different from what I was expecting but it was good for what it was.

I got into UC Santa Barbara!

Which is CRAZY because UCSB has a REALLY good Chemistry Department.

I dont want to go there, but it is still really cool :-)

This is the end of the bullshit. It stops NOW.

I have allowed horrible people to spread vicious lies about me, write hateful things about me, walk all over me, judge me, and crush me.

For TWO years.

And the entire time I have kept my mouth shut.

The entire time I have not stood up for myself.

It has become GLARINGLY obvious that nobody (or at least one specific person) has not, does not, and will not ever stick up for me or defend me against these hateful disgusting people.

Which means, I will have to start sticking up for myself.

And I have a feeling some people are not going to like it.

Well too fucking bad.

I have had enough.

I have been pushed too far.

One last hateful, mean, pathetic facebook-wall post finally pushed me over the edge.

This was one of the most entertaining books I have read in a really long time! It was suspenseful, and fun, and different. If you are looking for a light book to read while you are taking a bath, wasting time, avoiding homework, waiting for a bus, or for right before you go to bed, this is it.

Out for a walk

So Erich and I have a new fun activity that we have been doing...

Taking Harley for a walk down in Marshal Park!!!

I am NOT joking!

We put her little harness and leash on, and we put her in her carrier and drive down to the park. Then we let her out and we go walking on all the trails. She does it just like a dog does! She keeps up with us, and runs in front of us sometimes, stops to smell something and then starts walking along the path again when you tug the leash a little bit.

Seriously, you guys HAVE to come with me at some point...it is WAY too cute and funny not to witness first hand LOL.

Ok, so I found the FUNNIEST thing EVER!

It is a sight that does online cartoons about Grad Students. They are HILARIOUS!!!! And even better...you dont have to be a grad student to appreciate a lot of the jokes lol. I put a little link thing on the right hand side bar under the "Currently Reading" portion. I just bought the books and I am really looking forward to getting them so I have something else I can procrastinate with! lol

"Faceless Self Portrait" that my sister did in her digital photography class

So my sister is in a digital photography class right now. She is a REALLY REALLY good photographer and sells a lot of her stuff. They had to do a faceless self portrait, and most people took pictures of things like their car, or their desk, or stupid crap like that with their digital camera and that was their project. This was hers:

It is even cooler when you see it in the full size. They had a little art show thing with their final projects (kind of like what they do with the art gallery under the library at LC) and a bunch of people asked if they could order prints and pay her for them....students, faculty, and other random people. I think that is pretty cool. You should see her real photography, it is even better than this. She uses a lot of non standard film, and different formatted cameras, and does her own developing. I am going to have her do a bunch of stuff for me for when I move into my new apartment and decide on a decorating "scheme" lol. Damn, I wish I had a hobby like her that I could make money off of!!!

It always is though, isnt it?

I went to the lush valentines day party and got like a $20 chunck of soap that I love, for free! It was awesome! I also got a lot of stuff for pretty cheap because I used the coupon I got in my xmas gift.

Procrastination is inevitable! And boring random stuff that you probably dont care about, but I am bored so I am going to write it anyway!

I only have two classes, and yet I have managed to procrastinate and put everything off until the last moment LOL.

But hey, I have spent MANY MANY hours perfecting the art of procrastination and it is nice to see how good I have gotten at it! Too bad it isnt one of those skills you can put down on a resume lol.

Yeah, so I am really tired. I have been getting plenty of sleep, eating relativly decent food, drinking lots of water, exercising (yeah...seriously lol...), and yet I still feel SUPER tired. I have decided it is because I HATE my mattress. I am going to try to talk my mom into letting me get a new one. Until then I am actually considering busting out the advil pm in hopes that maybe that will help me sleep. I dont feel too bad about it, because my body freaking hurts from all the pilates I have been doing so the advil isnt totaly being abused as a sleep aid LOL.

I have decided that my biggest pet peeve is when people say things like "oh my god, we should totally hang out!" and then they never follow through on it. If you dont want to hang out, then dont freaking say you want to!!!

I am fighting the urge to dye my hair. I want it dark again, but I want to wait a couple weeks so that it still looks nice for when I go back home. I keep staring at my car keys thinking "well, I could just go to freddies and pick up a couple things and see if I find a color I like..." haha, yeah I would head straight for the hair dye, then skip the whole "buying food and necessities" thing, and go home and bust open the box as fast as I could lol.

Book Review: The Sex Lives of Cannibals

So each time I finish reading a book I am going to put a little blurb about it in my side bar. Then when I finish reading another book I am going to update the side bar with the new book review and put the old book review in a post so that I have it saved somewhere. So that is what I am doing now! :-)The Sex Lives of Cannibals, by J. Maarten Troost
I thought that this was a pretty good book actually. I was expecting it to be more of a 'laugh out loud' book then it was. The book was really funny, but he wrote in a very factual way about all the crazy things that happend to him on the island, which made it more of a 'are you freaking kidding me!?' kind of funny. It was like he was saying that at some point things just got so ridiculous that he couldnt even react anymore. There was also a lot of historical information about Kirabati and Tarawa, which was really interesting. Anyway, this book was really good, but I wouldnt bother buying it. Borrow it from me if you are interested, because while it is a great book, I cant imagine reading it more than once. Rating: 4 out of 5

LOL this is SO funny...make sure you have the volume turned up when you watch it!
