I wrote down EVERYWHERE, and told EVERYONE, that I was going to Dallas Monday.

I was supposed to leave tonight.

I mean, the fuck up isnt entirely my fault. When I was talking to the professor who made all the arrangements he SAID monday. But the actual ticket info and stuff said March 25th...

which guess what...

is today.

God damn it.

I will write more about this later...I dont really feel like talkign about it now LOL.

I have NEVER fucked up something like this before...shit...I am ALWAYS really good about airport stuff...I pack a couple days before I leave, I print out all my conformation stuff that you never actually need, I get to the airport AT LEAST three hours early, all that shit...

Maybe this is a freaking sign...
That the one time I fuck up a plane reservation was for going to visit a school lol.

Ho'o got me flowers the other day, and looking at them on the counter made me happy, so I thought that since I had to be staring at my computer screen for the next god-knows how many hours, I would put flowers there too to brighten it up :-)

I think I am in the process of loosing my mind...and my eye sight...

Yeah, so I have been working on my new blog for two and a half hours, and I have almost nothing to show for it except I have picked a header, some of the basic colors, and I think I am going blind from staring at the computer screen for too long...UUUUGGGGHHHH.

The reason for that is...

I have started to try to use photoshop...

I know...

Now I will NEVER have any free time!!!! lol

I'm having some annoying problems with my template though. I have to relearn how to do the coding for it because blogger switched out of their 'classic' mode into a new beta mode (well its out of beta now I guess...). Anyway, it is really different and I have NO idea what I'm doing anymore lol.

If any of you guys are good at this web design stuff you should help me out a bit...I will seriously try to come up with a way to pay you back for any help you would be willing to offer. I run errands, clean houses, take people out to dinner, etc etc etc. LOL

Anyway, you should check out the new blog and tell me what you think of what I have so far. I love the photo that I am using as the header and so I want to design the colors and stuff around that. Let me know if you have any suggestions PLEASE!!!

Too Firm?

So the problem with my old mattress is that it was way too soft. It ended up hurting my back really bad to sleep on it. It was super comfortable to lounge on and nap on, but actual sleeping wasnt so great.

So when I bought my new mattress I bought a firm mattress. I have been lying on it now for about an hour...and I'm starting to worry that it might be too firm. It is almost bouncy...

I'm sure that it will break in pretty quickly, but I'm worried that I may just roll off of it in the middle of the night! LOL. I'm also worried that even though the firmness might be really good for my back and it will probably help me staty asleep all night, the firmness might prevent me from falling asleep. It isn't exactly the most "cozy" of mattresses.

Man, this is why I hate buying things like mattresses. They are just sooo risky to buy because you have NO idea if it is going to work for you.

Well, the one really nice thing is that it will be a nice bed for doing homework on. I can move around on the bed and it wont make all my papers jostel around lol.

Wish me luck having a good night's sleep on this mattress tonight :-/

Productive Day

Man, I got a lot done today with out actually doing a lot lol.

I got my new bed, which means I also cleaned and vacuumed my entire room before the delivery guys got here, and then I made my bed.


I took Harley to the groomer to get her nails trimmed, to get her brushed out, and to get her ears cleaned. While I waited for them to be done I did all the shopping at Petsmart that I needed to do. Holy crap, did they get a lot of loose hair out of Harley's coat today! The groomer also gave me two really good comb like things that I can use on her that will work way better than the regular cat combs and brushes I have been using. One is for a dog, and one is for a horse lol, but hey, if they work that's great!

I got all my medicinal homework done.

And I'm going to run errands at Fred Meyer later today.

Awesome.

Erich said he had an impromptu play practice and then he had to work on a paper last night.

Turns out, he lied to my face again.

He went to the play.

And he wonders why I dont trust him, at all?

He doesnt think he did anything wrong. I mean, it wasnt like he went with someone. I mean, forget the fact that he lied. Unless he went with someone, I apparently cant be mad because it means he did actually do anything wrong. Funny...my parents taught me that it was wrong to lie. Period.

Congratulations Erich, you have lied to my face one too many times. I am tired of being lied to, so why dont you just not talk to me. I told you the lies would stop one way or another, and apparently the only way they will stop is if you dont speak to me.

Making a new blog...

So I have decided that I want to make a brand new blog to start writting on when I move to Eugene and start gradschool. Kind of a new start, ya know? Anyway, I am going to use this blog to host some of the images while I work on it...so just ignore any random crap that shows up here for a while lol.


This might be the new banner, or it might get turned into the new banner after a bunch of tweaking. What do you think? You guys should leave comments with your opinions. Also, the title is from a Suzanne Vega song that I really like.

I think I am possessed...and out of shape...

So I had a really shitty day today...
Including but not limited to:
1. falling back asleep and almost being late for my study/homework session
2. getting to my homework session an realizing that I left all my notes and papers at home
3. loosing one of my diamond earrings in the parking lot
4. finding out that we have medicinal homework due on Thursday which I didnt know about
5. going to the mall to try on jeans and not having anything fit
6. looking around for a half hour for the sweater that I wanted to buy, just to realize they didnt have it in my size

Then I get home and I think...

Hey, why dont I put on my work out clothes and go for a RUN.

WHAT THE HELL?!?!

So yeah, I ran from my house all the way down to Marshal Park, then I ran through Marshal Park for about 1/2 hour, then I ran all the way back to my house.

Dear god, I am going to be soooo sorry I did this tomorrow morning...

lol so yeah, I think its official...I have totally lost my mind.

I thought it was pretty cool that occasionally I get random people visiting my blog from other countries. I love that my stat counter puts up little pictures of the flags :-)

My stat counter only keeps track of a limited number of visits, so I have also had people from other countries (Netherlands, Ghana, Germany, Norway...and some more that I cant remember at the moment) at some point that dont show up on here.

I am getting a new mattress and box spring delivered on Friday!!!

And I got new sheets...they are a dark royal purple...they are SOOOOO pretty! And they were on sale :-D

Maybe now I will actually get some sleep...god that would be nice!

Harley makes me so happy sometimes LOL

Ok, so a while ago Harley had a white fuzzy toy mouse that she loved. She eventually tore it to shreads, pretty much skinning it and playing with what was left of it. It is still attached to the plastic rattle inside, but just barley. Anyway, I thought it was really kind of funny, so I tacked it to my cork board when I gave her a new mouse as a replacement.

Well, I dont know why it took her so long to realize that it was there, but a minute ago she jumped up on my nightstand and proceeded to CLIMB the corkboard and try to pull the remains of her white mouse off the board. When she couldnt get it, she started meowing really loud. So I started laughing and then took it off the board for her, to see if she would still want to play with it.

She grabed it out of my hand, and ran out of the room with it, and began to throw it all over the place while meowing and snorting and basicly going freaking NUTS lol. Then she brought it onto my bed and has been playing with it ever since lol. Other than the fact that she keeps throwing it into walls and then proceeds to throw herself against the wall after it, thereby making a ridiculous amount of noice at 2am...it is really cute and funny. I am going to look all over town to see if I can find another white fuzzy mouse like this one. I have no idea why, but she just LOVES the damn thing lol.

Oh my god, now she is lying down with it, giving it a bath LOL.

There is a reason why I am getting my PhD in a Material Science area...

I fucking hate biochem kids, and anything fucking related to biochem. Its a bunch of fucking bullshit. Just because you spent two weeks straight reading and memorizing the 500 pages of the textbook doesnt mean your smart. In fact, I would argue that it pretty much proves that you arent. The fact that I get almost the same grade as them and I dont study at ALL, pretty much proves that I'm smarter than they are. I would DIE LAUGHING if they ever had to take a test that was ACTUALLY hard, and ACTUALLY based on being smart rather than just straight memorizing crap, like one of Dr. Randall's tests. Oh my god, it would be the best karma ever. I am so fucking sick and tired of listening to the biochem kids talk about how impressed they are with themselves.

I will be so happy to see all these dumbasses in 20 years, when they are all just one amoungst a million shitty doctors, drowning in debt, on their third marriage. Serves them right.

Thank god Material Science is as far away from people like them as I can get.
