Update: I know the formatting on this post is all screwed up, but I am too lazy to fix it lol. It is from all the pictures and cutting and pasting of text that I did. Oh well!

Here is the newest regiment for Harley. I know you guys probably dont care lol, but I do, and it is important to me. I also find all this crazy animal medicine stuff kind of interesting.
----------------------
(1/4 cup dry z/d food) + (1/4 can Rabbit formula food) -----> Twice a day (it smells sooo bad lol, but at least she will eat it!)

For the Nutritional Management of Cats with Food Allergy and Intolerance
  |
ROYAL CANIN Veterinary Diet™ feline Green Peas and Rabbit Formula
Highly palatable, digestible, complete, and balanced diet for the adult cat. Rabbit is the only source of protein and green peas are the only source of carbohydrate.

----------------------
Laxatone -----> 1 inch, every other day for hairballs

---------------------
Metoclopramide -----> 2.5 mg (1/4 tablet) orally, 30 minutes before feeding

-------------------
Metronidazol
e -----> 62.5mg (1/4 tablet) every 24 hours
Metronidazole is used to treat protozoal infections in cats and dogs including Giardia, Entamoeba, Trichomonas, and Balantidium. It is also used to treat anaerobic bacterial infections. Metronidazole has immune modulating activity and may be prescribed to treat inflammatory bowel disease. It may be used to treat colitis caused by other antibiotics, periodontal disease (especially in cats), Clostridium perfringens enterotoxemia, tetanus, diarrhea of undetermined cause, pancreatic insufficiency (with small intestinal bacterial overgrowth), and complications of severe liver disease. Metronidazole may be used with corticosteroids in the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease, or gum disease (gingivitis/stomatitis) in cats. Topical metronidazole gel is used in the treatment of skin infections, such as feline chin acne.

Well, that is everything for now.
Damn.
So basically, I have to give her three pills a day and she gets to eat what she would consider fancy food lol. It only took erich and I four tries to give Harley her first pill today lol. We had to use a "pill shooter"

Which is exactly what it looks/sounds like. It is a long plunger like thing with a rubber tip. You put the pill inside the rubber tip, shove it in the cats mouth, depress the plunger which "shoots" the pill into the back of their mouth. Then you close their mouth and hold it closed while you lightly blow into their nose....weird, i know lol, but it forces them to swallow - thereby swallowing the pill instead of spitting it onto the floor.
Hopefully this will get easier, and hopefully after two weeks they will either lower the dosage of her meds or take her off of them all together to see if the food itself will be enough.
Keep your fingers crossed that this all goes well :-/

End of really long and boring post about my cat that nobody will actually read LOL.
