You should really check out Pandora.com it is a really cool website where you put in an Artist, or a song that you like and it creates a radio station that plays other songs that sound like the Artist/song. It is pretty fun. ..and free which is even better! :-)


Lush Sadness:
So three of my bath melts did just that...
They melted...
But not in the bath. They melted in the bag because it is so FREAKING hot outside. I am officially sad :-(
I put them in the refrigorator so hopefully they will hardern up enough. I also put all my massage bars in the fridge just in case but now they have little white crystals on them which is fine but they dont look pretty anymore :-( lol

Lush Goodness:
I went to Lush yesterday and bought:
1" NEW! (Hair)" shampoo bar
1 "Ultimate Shine" shampoo bar
1 "Two Timing Tart" bubble bar

More Sadness:
I guess they have discontinued the "Two Timeing Tart" bubble bar which sucks because it smells so good! It smells like strawberries and was the only one I could find that was a fruity smelling one. They had a bunch downtown so I might go stock up.

Question For Dana...
So are we going to go to Ikea this Saturday or next Saturday? I have a friend who lives up there who wants to take us out to lunch if it fits in her schedual so I want to give her a heads up as to whether or not we are going to be coming up.

Goal For the Summer...
So I have been wasting a lot of time on Facebook because I am so bored at work, and I have decided that everyone has tons of pictures of all their friends, and funny stuff except me. I think my new goal for the summer will be to bust out the camera and start taking more pictures.

Ouch...my foot hurts...(sorry this is a long post)

The amazing sound of the fan we just bought at target...it isn't really cooling down the house but I am going to pretend like it is...placebo is wonderful!!!

Ok, so I went dancing Saturday night which was AMAZING! I havent been dancing in almost a month. I have started randomly dancing around the house because I miss it so much...which is kind of embarrasing lol.

Anyway, it was really fun and funny. Chris got slapped by Karen Maria (it was a party at Karen Maria's house) for grabing a piece of ice out of the shaker she was about to make a drink in. If you knew Karen Maria you would know why this was so funny. Then she said something along the lines of "Just because your mama didnt raise you right, doesnt mean you can go sticking your fingers in my drink!" I was laughing so hard I almost fell down.

It was really nice to see everyone again, and to get out on the floor and dance a little bit. I mean, I only really danced with Chris and Adam because I left before most of the people got there (I left around 12:30am and they dont normally get going until around 2am) but it was still fun.

But...
I steped funny at one point and kind of hurt my foot. Not my ankle, but kind of the upper part of my arch. I kind of walked it off and it seemed fine. It didnt bother me at all today until just now. I turned to go from the hallway to the kitchen and it was like part of my food just didnt turn with the rest of it. Now I can hardly walk. I cant really wiggle my toes either. I am sitting here in the living room with a bag of peas on my foot lol. We cant waste the ice...it is too hot to waste the ice!!! It doesnt seem swollen or anything...it almost feels like it is just...stuck.

So if I wake up tomorrow and it still hurts I will have the pleasure of icing my foot all day at work...and if it still hurts after work...yay for a trip to the urgent care facility!

Anyway, sorry I havent written in so long. I dont know why I am appologizing, I mean only like three people ever read this which is kind of depressing but whatever.

I wish I could be one of those people who can write all sorts of deep, philosophical, interesting posts every day or two...but by the time I get home I am tired. All I want to do is eat dinner, watch an hour of tv, read ten pages in my book, and go to sleep.

I started to wonder if I was capable of writting deep, insightful, interesting posts. I know I have thoughts that range slightly above boring and superficial lol, but I just dont know if I am capable of being articulate with those thoughts.

Ok, so yeah, I know I could. I could write the most amazingly articulate, overly self aware rants, and write about my "heart wrenching sorrow that encompases every breath that leaves my body" (quoting one of those annoyingly overly self aware and self absorbed freshman's blogs I have had the misfortune of reading part of)...but I am FREAKING TIRED...and I'm not that self obsesed. So if that means I end up having a boring, rambly, poorly written blog then so be it...instead of staying up until 2am attempting to show the world how in touch I am with my feelings, I am going to be asleep because I have to work the next day.

And on that note, I am going to sleep...because I have to work the next day. :-)

So yeah...you guys should leave me comments because I am going to be at work all day being bored so it will be nice to have something to read!

ps.
I love benadryl and other medications that make you sleepy :-) hehehe They make me so happy that I go to sleep with a goofy grin on my face. And I'm not even the one taking them! lol

Have you ever had one of those days where you are really stressed out, you are having a really bad day, and all you want is for your best friend to give you a call just so you can pretend for five minutes that everything is normal, so you can pretend for five minutes that you are calm and happy and things are all going to be better...

But you know they wont call because it is Friday night and they are most likely out partying and/or hanging out with their friends.

And it isnt like you really care if they are out partying and such...and honestly, you dont really care if you actually get to talk to them...

But if they did call then you would know they were thinking about you and that simple fact would make you calm enough and happy enough to get through another two days of utter hell and frustration.

But they dont call.

And so you are left with an empty feeling in the pit of your stomach...you are left feeling like they are off having a better time with out you around...

But I mean, hey...they talked to you a couple days ago right? And they are going to see you in a couple days right? So it isnt a big deal...thats what they would say...it isnt a big deal to them...it doesnt matter to them.

But to the one left having a really hard time, to the one in a really hard and frustrating situation...

To the one doing the missing and not receiving it in return...

It matters...
Knowing your friend isnt too busy to call, but simply chooses not to call matters...

You are left feeling like they are too distracted to remember to miss you...

These people are freaking insane.

Oh yeah, I'm visiting my family for my sisters graduation..and I dont think I am going to make it to Sunday alive when I go back to Portland...So it's been nice knowing all of you :-)

Friday Night!

Ok, so here is the plan...

Friday night, 8pm, my house.

We are going to eat tons of junk food, and chocolate, and 'girly' drinks like cosmopolitans, and do facials, and scrubs and stuff...maybe, just maybe, I will get a couple fun things from Lush :-)

AND....

watch a couple blow-em up, shoot-em up action movies.

I was thinking maybe Die Hard and a Bond movie...you guys should give me ideas of other movies, or help me decide which Bond movie to get.

Also, think of something to bring, something to snack on, or stuff to make drinks or whatever. let me know what you want to bring so we dont end up with 10 bags of potato chips lol.

Also, give me ideas on who to invite.

This is going to be an awesome girly night with a bunch of sterotypical guy movies! :-)

Two random thoughts

1) So why would someone bother to write a two page appology for writing horrific shit about you and then posting in on the internet, if they cant even be bothered to remove the post in which they wrote the things they claim they are sorry for saying?

2) yeah, so the whole "erich and me living together for the summer and its going to be wonderful because it is just going to be the two of us" plan died. One of his old roommates is going to be living here for another month. Take a wild guess as to what I am thinking about that. I was so excited for it to just be me and erich. Oh well. I should have known it was too good to be true. :-/

The funny thing is that I actually was really excited to go the party.
