Sexy Again...

I warn you guys that this post is kind of boring lol

So I was bored...
So I dyed my hair.
I dyed it a natural dark-ish brown.
It turned out darker than I was expecting, but that is good because my hair usually looses its color pretty quickly, so the darker it is the first day the better.

After I rinsed it all out I blow dried it upside down (its easier to do upside down because I have so much freaking hair now). When I flipped rightside up and looked in the mirror I was surprised at what I saw...

I looked good.
I didnt feel washed out anymore with boring dull brassy light brown hair and bleached streaks with the roots growing in.
My hair is shiny and dark and sexy again.
I dont look freakishly pale (weird effect when my hair is darker I dont look as white lol. You would think the contrast would make me look more pale, but apparently not).

Yeah I know people like my hair when it is lighter...but I dont give a crap lol. Dark hair makes me feel sexy, and grownup, confident and elegant, and basicly the "me" that I like to be around.

Yeah most of my life is pretty much shit at the moment. Yeah it seems like all the things I wanted to have going for me at this point in my life have systematically gone down the drain and dont appear to be coming back. But right now I dont really care. Right now my hair looks good. Right now while I am sitting alone in my house watching That 70's Show reruns on DVD with a cute little kitty asleep next to me I feel a little bit like the girl that used to have all the things she wanted. Confidence, good grades, a wonderful boyfriend she loved, good friends, and great hair lol. Yeah I dont have any of those things any more (aside from wonderful friends) but I feel a little bit like the girl who did...happy...

It is kind of weird (and a little stupid and lame :-P lol) how a cheap $8 at home dye job can give you just the pickme up you need.

Well I am going to watch one more episode of That 70's Show and then I am going to go to sleep. And hopefully the silly cat wont wake up in the middle of the night/early morning this time...She is asleep now so keep your fingers crossed that she doesnt wake up and want to play when erich gets home tonight lol.
